Handmade sustainable jewellery
At Silver Hollow Jewellery we handcraft eco-friendly jewellery from sustainable materials. Environmental sustainability is at the forefront of our work, with reycled raw materials and packaging, responsibly sourced gemstones, and eco-conscious craftsmanship and business practices. Made in the UK, we take pride in these values that we share with our customers, our attention to detail, customer service, and unique designs.
Meet the maker
First of all, I'll introduce myself if you haven't met me already- I'm Dan, the owner and sole employee of Silver Hollow Jewellery (so far...). This means I'm responsible for every step our jewellery takes before it reaches you: design, handcrafting, packaging and distribution. Aside from running Silver Hollow online, you can also meet me in person at high street markets, and try on what we have to offer.
How it all started
Silver Hollow Jewellery started from the depths of lockdown boredom in a shed in the back garden of a university house. I started off upcycling old coins into rings, and quickly included cutlery in my recycled jewellery creations. Since then, Silver Hollow has grown, now we specialise in solid sterling silver pieces, while still making many of the recycled coin and cutlery jewellery that began this journey.
UK based independent business
We are an independent West Sussex jeweller, hand-crafting each piece in our hometown, Chichester, UK. Aside from making jewellery at our private studio and working online, we trade regularly at the Chichester high street market every Wednesday, as well as Horsham Carfax markets each Saturday. So, if you want the opportunity to try on some of our unique pieces in person, come by for a chat and browse what we have to offer!
Where we are now
We're still enjoying everything that comes with bringing you unique, handmade and sustainable jewellery. We're so excited for what the rest of the year will bring, the projects we have in the works, and the road to building a business and community that shares our values: unique quality jewellery, caring for nature, and sentimental pieces that bring joy to those who wear or gift them.
